A New Lease of Life for Industrial Heritage
In Umbertide, Corbo Group has transformed the former Tobacco Warehouse into a vibrant, shared public space. This urban regeneration project has brought new life to a building that embodies the area's industrial heritage, returning an important part of local history to the community.
In the heart of Umbertide, the former Tobacco Factory Warehouse has been transformed from a deteriorating industrial building into a new public facility, as part of the “Forum Urbano del Parco” Integrated Urban Development Programme.
The project preserves the building's original architectural layout, characteristic of warehouses associated with tobacco manufacturing, while restoring the value of a landmark closely connected to the area's industrial and cultural history.
The entire building has undergone comprehensive redevelopment, with targeted interventions to ensure safety, functionality and accessibility while preserving its distinctive architectural character.
A Multifunctional Space
A multipurpose hall has been created on the ground floor, while the mezzanine level, complete with a panoramic terrace, accommodates cultural and social activities. These new facilities have transformed the building into a welcoming space for community gatherings, cultural engagement and social inclusion.

Accessibility and Sustainability
The redevelopment has achieved “Barriere Zero” (Zero Barriers) accessibility certification and an A energy efficiency rating, demonstrating a commitment to inclusive, energy-efficient architecture.
